Each skier may choose their starting speed.
Speeds will only be increased once the skier has completed the full course.
Each skier is guaranteed 4 passes.
Skiers are given a score for each buoy completed just turning the mini course buoy is worth .5, turning the full course buoy is worth 1 point. Scores of .6,.7,.8,.9 are also given as the skier gets wider than the mini course buoy, but not yet around the full course.
Once a skier has failed to go around a mini course buoy the scoring stops for that pass.
Start gates are optional but worth 1 point
End gates must be completed to gain a score for the 6th buoy.
The maximum score for each pass is 7 points When a skier runs the full course the speed will be increased for the next pass. Once a Division 6 skier has successfully run the full course 3 times in any competition they move up to full course (Div5). After the first pass the boat judge has the right to increase the speed.
