After such a succesful event at Moura the Central Queensland Division is proud to announce their second tournament in preparation for next years inaugural CQ series with Mackay Waterski Club hosting a tournament Marion Weir approx 30 kilometres west of Mackay on May 30-31st. The Mackay Ski Club has excellent facilities including powered camp sites & hot showers. Along with immaculate skiing water there will once again be 2 courses & 2 boats to ensure that the tournament runs smooth & efficiently. Competitive water skiing is a sport for the whole family. Over 160 skiers participated in our events last year. Skiers who are able to get out of the water on 1 or 2 skis and are able to cross the wakes safely are welcome to come along to our events and join in. Beginners start in our mini course division and are given coaching to help you through the course.
